Context
Reby, is a 'startup' that manufactures and manages the use of electric scooters and now also has bicycles and motorcycles as one of the pioneers in sustainable mobility.
Working in the design team we had to deal with redesigning the onboarding of the Reby mobility application including motorcycle and bicycle vehicles added animation with dynamic movements. Also we decided to create all of the illustrations from scratch in order to have a unique and represent the most value for the company.
My main role in this project was to work as a User experience Designer & Motion designer.
Goal
Redesign the onboarding of the Reby mobility application including motorcycle and bicycle vehicles added animation with dynamic movements.
Pencil and paper
First we define the different onboarding by vehicle, that is, scooter, motorcycles and bicycles. And also the general onboarding that includes all the vehicles that reby offers. Onboarding is one of the first screens that the user sees and it should be explanatory and attract attention.
We start with pencil and paper, drawing the screens to carry out the illustrations and then create these vectors in motion.

General onboarding
We define that the onboarding could not have more than 5 screens and also the text must support what is described in the image.
The perfect onboarding:
✅ provides a quick tour of the app
✅ highlights the app’s main features
✅ shows how to use the app and what to do next.
✅ is easy to understand.
The transition is natural and demonstrates how app components interact.

¿How does it works?
Reby for each vehicle has an option "How it works" in its menu as an explanatory step-by-step onboarding. Micro animations were made for scooters, motorcycles, and bicycles.
